Our main departure point is HR Penn Marina in Road Town, Tortola, British Virgin Islands. We can also arrange pickup from any location in the BVI with a dock,confirm your preferred pickup point when booking. Exact departure time is confirmed at booking. We recommend arriving 15 minutes before departure.<\/span><\/p>

For guests joining from the US Virgin Islands, pickup is available from Red Hook, St. Thomas and Cruz Bay, St. John. A specific dock location will be confirmed when you book.<\/span><\/p>\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Shore to Shore is based in the British Virgin Islands (BVI),\u00a0 specifically in Road Town, Tortola. The British Virgin Islands are a separate territory from the US Virgin Islands (USVI). They are neighbouring island groups with different governments, customs, and entry requirements. If you are flying into St. Thomas in the USVI, you will need to travel across to the BVI to join your charter, and we can arrange that pickup for you (see below).<\/span><\/p>\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\n\tHow do I pay? Is a deposit required?<\/span>\n\t\n\t\t\n <\/span> <\/span>\n <\/span>\n\t\t\n <\/span> <\/span>\n <\/span>\n\t<\/span>\n<\/h5>\n

A 40% deposit is required to secure your booking. You have 10 business days from the date of booking to make the deposit payment. If you are booking within 14 days of your travel date, the deposit is due immediately. Bookings cannot be held without a deposit.<\/span><\/p>

Payment can be made via our online booking portal, over the phone, or in person. You will receive a confirmation email once your deposit is processed.<\/span><\/p>

The remaining balance is due before or on the day of your charter.<\/span><\/p>\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Guest safety is our first priority. If conditions are unsafe, we will contact you to reschedule. We monitor conditions closely and will always give you as much notice as possible. Yes. We are experienced with families and take the safety of all passengers, including children, seriously. All vessels are equipped with appropriate safety equipment and all captains hold commercial certifications with the BVI Maritime Authority. There is no minimum group size \u2014 we have taken out solo travellers and couples just as happily as full groups. What stays the same regardless of group size is the charter price. You are booking a private boat, not a per-person rate, so the full charter price applies whether you are one guest or eight. Yes. Shore to Shore can arrange pickup from St. Thomas and St. John in the USVI, bring you across to the British Virgin Islands for your charter, and return you to your USVI departure point at the end of the day.<\/span><\/p>

There are a few important things to know before booking this option:<\/span><\/p>

  • All guests travelling between the USVI and BVI require a valid passport or a US passport card.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>
  • Customs and immigration clearance at the BVI port of entry is required on arrival. Wait times are unpredictable and can fluctuate significantly depending on the day. This will reduce the time available for your charter, and the impact cannot be estimated in advance.<\/span><\/li>
  • We strongly recommend factoring clearance time into your expectations when planning the day.<\/span><\/li><\/ul>

    Yes. When travelling between the BVI and USVI on a Shore to Shore transfer, we handle the customs and immigration process on your behalf. You remain on the boat while we manage the paperwork. However, wait times at the port of entry are outside our control and can vary considerably.<\/span><\/p>\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

    \n\tWhat is your cancellation policy?<\/span>\n\t\n\t\t\n <\/span> <\/span>\n <\/span>\n\t\t\n <\/span> <\/span>\n <\/span>\n\t<\/span>\n<\/h5>\n

    If you need to cancel, please notify us in writing via email or text message as early as possible.<\/span><\/p>

    • Cancellations made 6 or more business days before your charter date will receive a refund minus a 15% administrative fee.<\/span><\/li>
    • Cancellations made within 5 business days or fewer of your charter date will forfeit the 40% deposit. No refund will be issued.<\/span><\/li>
    • If Shore to Shore cancels your booking due to bad weather or a mechanical issue, you will receive a full refund. You may also choose to transfer your deposit to a future booking instead.<\/span><\/li>
    • Transfer requests made within 5 business days of your charter date are considered on a case-by-case basis.<\/span><\/li><\/ul>
