Private transfers between BVI and USVI, and evening runs to restaurants across the British Virgin Islands.
Shore to Shore runs two transfer services, a BVI to USVI water taxi for travellers crossing between territories, and inter-island dinner runs for guests who want a private boat to take them to dinner across the BVI and bring them back. Both are fully private. Neither runs on a ferry schedule.
BVI to USVI Water Taxi
If you are travelling between the British Virgin Islands and the US Virgin Islands, whether connecting through St. Thomas, returning to St. John, or crossing for any other reason, Shore to Shore handles the transfer privately and handles the paperwork for you.
We manage customs and immigration on board. You stay on the boat, have a cold drink, and arrive without having stood in a single queue.

Pickup points: We depart from Road Town, Tortola and can collect from Red Hook, St. Thomas St. John in the USVI.
Government fees: Travel between the BVI and USVI requires clearance through customs and immigration at the port of entry. Government fees apply and cover customs processing, port entry, and immigration charges for each passenger. These fees are not included in the base price and are collected separately. The amount varies and will be confirmed when you enquire.
Clearance times: Wait times at the port of entry are unpredictable and fluctuate depending on the day and volume of traffic. We can give you an honest estimate when you book, but we cannot guarantee clearance duration.
Passport requirement: All guests travelling between the USVI and BVI require a valid passport book or a US passport card.

Inter-Island Dinner Runs
The BVI's best restaurants are not all on Tortola. Cooper Island Beach Club, Saba Rock, the dining options on Jost Van Dyke, and Virgin Gorda. If you want to get there for dinner and back without waiting for a ferry, Shore to Shore can arrange a private evening transfer.
We drop you off in time for your reservation and pick you up when you are ready to leave. No fixed return schedule. No rushing through dessert.
